Wow, I think I've been combining straitjackets with rope ever since I got my first one - probably 15 or 16 years ago. I think I did it at the beginning because the actually jackets didn't really work. The arms didn't connect properly behind and it just seemed silly to me. Original Text from August 31, 2002: Well, it wasn't difficult to figure out that Laurie Wallace's appearance at the Cafe last month was popular - I got quite a few emails that stated plainly... more Laurie... more Laurie. Well, your wish is my command.
I have to say that I've been quite inspired lately... not sure where it is coming from (although in this case it was probably from working with Laurie)... all I do know is that this tie just sort of took on a mind of it's own. I was going to do a standard lotus tie, but once the feet got incorporated I really wanted the arms to follow in some sort of form that reflected the feet...
So, with Laurie's approval, I went to town... it took some time and please don't ask me to do it again, because I have *no* idea what I did here... All I really know is that it really worked and it looked great too... Some days I get lucky, lucky, lucky... :)
Just how cool this tie was became evident when Laurie rolled over on her side and all the ropes just stayed right where they were supposed to... yep, I must say I'm pretty proud of this one ;) I know this may sound corny, but nothing gives me greater pleasure than to do a really cool tie that is also functional and inescapable. It's little shots like the big one above that really make me smile... It's tight, and she can't mess up the ropes, let alone get free. Angela Sommers and Candle, return for the first chapter of “The Perils of Batgirl II”. Catwoman sneaks into the Gotham Academy Museum of Cinema and Motion Pictures, and makes off with the famous “Ruby Stilettos”. Barbara Gordon (Angela Sommers), arrives home from a long uneventful day at the library, strips out of her dress, and climbs on the bed to read the news on her tablet.

She reads about the aforementioned robbery the night before, and then sees a news item relating to Batgirl. It seems that someone has loaded a video clip of Batgirl in peril to the dark web. Barbara opens the link, and is stunned to see that it is a video detailing Catwoman’s latest attempt to eliminate her. Tied on a grill, Catwoman explains that the heat lamps will slowly cook her. The hot lamps will also cause the wet untanned leather strips, that Catwoman has tied Batgirl with, to slowly contract as they dry. Can Batgirl escape, or will she be slowly roasted and strangled?!!

Angela Sommers and Candle, return for the second chapter of “The Perils of Batgirl II”. Barbara Gordon (Angela Sommers) is fascinated by the video of her on the BBQ, and begins to masturbate. After being told, the shoes are not for sale, Catwoman has her kittens grab Erin, and tells them to tie her up and throw her in a closet. The kittens drag Erin off. Just as soon as Catwoman has grabbed one of the shoes, Batgirl shows up to spoil the party. Unfortunately, Catwoman has been expecting her, and the kittens trap Batgirl in a net. They then pick her up and carry her off.
Batgirl finds herself tied in Catwoman’s diabolical Cat’s Cradle bondage. A fiendish interconnected tie, that will tighten whenever she moves. I have to thank a member for sending me an email asking for me to go back and post some really old stuff. It sort of got me on the train of putting up the first part of the Strict Design video that Cory and I made way back in 1999. When it came to do the pictures though, I realized that back then, and we are talking waaaaaaay back then now, I didn't take that many pictures of scenes. Just enough to sell the video that we were going to release. It wasn't until later when we opened Shortfuse Video as a paysite, that we started taking full sets of pictures. So I decided I would go back to the origins of Andrea's shoots and revisit pictures that haven't seen the light of day in decades. It was a very interesting experience. First off - damn, I'm a young pup... and second - even though I was using a really, really, really crappy digital camera (so crappy that I switched to 35mm film shortly after and wasn't convinced to come back to digital for almost 4 years), I do love these pics. Yeah, it is probably the sentimentalist in me - but I do. Yeah, I know my rope work is barely passable, and the lighting is well... non existent, there is still a certain charm to these photos that is enduring. Plus, its fucking Andrea Neal. And yes, you all out there have probably heard how much we all just ADORED her to death - but we did - and you can see why in these pictures. She was just so... real. Fun, quirky, girl next door, awesomeness - and a girl that could turn on the "Damsel in Distress" thing so well, that on more than one occasion, I stopped to shooting to make sure she wasn't really in life-theatening distress. When that happened, she would just look at me and smile and I would say, "damn, you fooled me again..." . I hope you enjoy the journey down memory lane.
